"This is a one-in-a-million situation. 99% of the time it’s not a happy ending." </p><p>"[I] ask that people keep their pets contained in the safety of their homes and not let them run wild, he added. "I can’t tell you how many heartbreaking stories I’ve had to see unfold when it comes to animals on and near the railroad."</p><p>Fox News Digital reached out to local animal clinics to get an update on the dog's condition, but no details were available.
